Our client, based in Wakefield is looking to appoint a Qualified Teacher of English to cover a long term assignment to start in January until the end of the academic year.

The school is seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated Teacher of English to teach up to KS4 with excellent curriculum knowledge and drive to succeed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full teaching role including planning, preparation, and delivering KS3 and KS4 English lessons. You are expected to mark and assess work, and any additional responsibilities as required by our client. 
 
The successful applicant will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for delivering engaging and interesting lessons
  • Be capable of integrating quickly in to the department and hit the ground running
