The Education Network are currently looking to recruit a full time Cover Supervisor who can support one of our client schools in the Pontefract area. If you are looking to do a PGCE Course or considering a career in teaching then this is the perfect opportunity to get some experience to see if teaching is the career for you.
The role is for an immediate start is full time, Monday to Friday during term time. You will work under the guidance of teaching staff and the Cover Manager, to support pupils in and out of the classroom. Duties will include the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to undertake administrative duties, support and lunchtime duties in school. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to a good standard.
The successful applicants will have:
- A degree qualification or equivalent
- Experience of working within a classroom, although this is not essential
- A genuine desire and passion for working with children
- Have a confident and positive approach to working with children
