Year 3 SEND T.A - Crook

The Education Network is currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant for one of our partner schools in Crook. The position is full time based in Year 3 supporting a child with additional needs in the morning and general classroom support in the afternoon.

The child in question can demonstrate challenging behaviour so the successful candidate must possess strong deescalation techniques. This role suits someone coming from a care background working with children.

The position is to start after Easter and likely to run for the rest of the academic year.

The successful candidate must have experience in working both 1-2-1 or supporting children with additional needs. You will promote good behaviour and positive values at all times to impact teaching and learning.

Our Durham office works specifically with schools across Durham and as well as this position the Education network have a number of day to day and long term supply assignments.
