Science ECT

Are you a Science ECT? Looking to complete your induction at a 'Good' secondary school located in Durham? Are you looking for a position where you can gain invaluable experience on your journey to becoming a fantastic teacher?

If so, look no further than this Science ECT position. We are looking for a Science ECT to start this exciting role in September 2024.

The Science ECT Role:
As an Science ECT at this school, you will join a dynamic, forward-thinking Science department delivering to all age groups. As a Science ECT, you will be responsible for planning, marking and assessments, which you will do in cooperation with your department. You will receive support from your ECT supervisor, who will ensure you are receiving appropriate CPD.

The Science ECT:
To be eligible for this Science ECT role, you must have either completed your PGCE and not yet finished your induction or be currently enrolled on your course and be expecting to qualify this academic year. You must have excellent curriculum knowledge and lesson planning skills, as well as strong behaviour management skills. You should have a good knowledge of SEN and how to support learners with additional needs both academically and pastorally.
