Job Description
Leaning Support Assistant required to assist students with Special Educational Needs. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a track record of working with Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia, to support students within a mainstream setting. You will be providing classroom based support and tailoring your approach to suit the individual needs of children.

The school is warm and welcoming, with good facilities and friendly staff. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in and overall behaviour is of a high standard. The school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who has experience managing challenging behaviour and can work well with Special Educational Needs.

Job Role:

Providing 1-2-1 classroom based support

Tailoring support to meet students’ needs

Working with the class teacher to make lessons engaging for the child

Ideally, the successful Learning Support Assistant will:

Have experience working as a Learning Support Assistant

Be able to work with challenging behaviour on 1-2-1 basis

Have recent experience working with Special Educational Needs

Be resilient, confident and empathetic towards students’ needs
