SEN Teaching Assistant required to support a child on a 1-2-1 basis. We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to provide classroom based support to a Key Stage 3 child with additional needs. This role is located at a brilliant SEND School and requires a Teaching Assistants who has experience working in a similar setting.

Ideally you will have experience working with Autism, complex Needs and SLD. As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for nurturing and supporting the development of the child that you are supporting. With fantastic facilities, excellent leadership and an abundance of resources, this Special School is the perfect setting to support children with additional needs.

Job Role:

  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs
  • Providing additional support for Teaching staff
  • Providing 1-2-1 and small group intervention support
  • Encouraging children to try new things and overcome barriers to education
