ICT and Computing Teacher

Are you an ICT or Computing Teacher who is looking for a new role? Have you considered making the transition into teaching at Alternative Provisions? Do you want an exciting role with less planning and marking? The Education Network is recruiting for an ICT Teacher to teach small classes of student that require additional support. The leadership team are looking for a teacher who enjoys breaking down barriers to education and inspiring students.

Hope you are all keeping safe. Despite what Covid 19 has visited upon us we still have Schools that are in a position to hire for September and we are actively working on their behalf.  Processes round registrations and interviews will be slightly different but we need to pull together to ensure we fill roles that will be vital to educating the children we serve.

The school has a great reputation for getting children back into mainstream education, and the dedicated team are focused on providing a high standard of education. As a teacher you will be provided with classroom based support from Teaching Assistants, and be teaching classes of no more than 8 students. Good behaviour management is required, however this is a fantastic opportunity for a QTS ICT Teacher or QTS Computing Teacher.

Job role:

  • Teaching ICT/Computing to small classes of students
  • Managing classroom behaviour
  • Motivating and inspiring students
  • Taking part in whole school activities

Ideally you will:

  • Have experience teaching both ICT and Computing
  • Have good classroom management skills
  • Want to be part of an excellent team
  • Enjoy inspiring children who need additional support
