Head of Maths

Are you an experienced Head of Maths looking for your next challenge? Are you ambitious and driven, with the desire to work in an “Outstanding” school? We are currently recruiting for a Head of Maths to work at a top Birmingham school. This role requires a Head of Maths that has experience leading a successful team of teacher. You will be working alongside the SLT to implement behaviour strategies and to improve student engagement. This school has an track record of achieving brilliant results and need a great teacher and leader to join the team.

This is an opportunity to work in a supportive and progressive environment with high standards. As a Head of Maths you will hold responsibility to maintain and improve the excellent results that this department has been able to achieve. You will be working with excellent leaders who are passionate about teaching and love their subjects! This school is looking for a Head of Maths who has a track record of delivering results and who is looking to continue their development as a senior leader.

Job Role:

  • Leading a successful department
  • Attaining outstanding results
  • Inspiring both staff and students to be the best that they can be
  • Working alongside the SLT to ensure standards are met across the school
  • Mentoring staff members, including NQTs

You must:

  • Hold QTS or  QTLS teaching status
  • Have experience leading a department
  • Enjoy teaching and be passionate about your subject
  • Be ambitious and driven to achieve brilliant results
  • Want to be part of something special
