If you are a qualified English teacher looking for your next challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. A school located in North Solihull are looking for an experienced teacher of English to join their team. The role includes the planning and delivery of engaging English lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, as well as providing appropriate feedback for pupils. This includes preparation for GCSE exams and enabling students to reach their full potential.

The school offers good facilities and strong core values that are practised through all areas of school life. There is a strong behaviour program in place, which allows teachers to focus on their teaching. This post will be a rewarding role to fill, and would suit any English teacher that is looking to help bring the subject to life for students and really get them engaged. There is a strong senior leadership thing, and support is in place for staff from when they start at the school through their career.

The school are looking for:

  • A QTS English Teacher
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
  • Classroom management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver fun and engaging English lessons
  • Happy to take on a full teaching role (incl. planning and marking)
  • An Enhanced DBS Check or be willing to apply for one
