Part-time Construction Teacher required for three afternoons a week at local Alternative Provision. This local referral unit are looking for an experienced Teacher of Construction who is able to deliver engaging lessons for three afternoons a week. The school has good facilities and the students take a genuine interest in construction lessons.
You will be joining a great team who are passionate about delivering a high standard of education and work well as a team. You will be teaching small classes of no more than 7 students, and will also have additional classroom support from a Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for a Construction Teacher who is looking for a new opportunity.
- Teaching small classes of Key Stage 4 students
- Delivering lessons to a high standard
- Working with leadership to improve attainment
- Acting as a positive role model
Ideally, you will:
- Have experience teaching construction in a school or college setting
- Enjoy breaking down barriers to education
- Have a positive approach to behaviour management
- Be looking for a long term opportunity
