Are you a Teaching Assistant with recent experience in supporting the teaching and learning in the classroom? You will required to provide outstanding support to the classroom teacher by managing behaviour effectively, leading small group or individual interventions and carrying out general day to day activities as outlined by the class teacher.

The school is based in a wonderful area and has a real drive to promote a genuine love of learning in it’s pupils. The leadership team understand just how vital teaching assistants are in the effective delivery of lessons each and every day which is why they are looking for an experienced teaching assistant who can jump straight into the role and provide outstanding support in the classroom.

Ideally, you will:

  • Be a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant or Degree Qualified
  • Have recent experience of working in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant
  • Have excellent behaviour management strategies
  • Be flexible working across KS1 and KS2 as a Teaching Assistant
  • Have a current DBS and relevant school references
  • Be able to work on your own initiative when supporting the class teacher as a Teaching Assistant
