Year 6 Teacher

Are you a teacher who has experience working in a Year 6 class and a proven track record of raising standards? As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be expected to plan and deliver exciting and creative lessons to develop a genuine love of learning in the children and prepare them for their SATs. You will also be responsible for effectively deploying support staff effectively and have a desire to do your part to benefit the wider life of this amazing school!

This school is in a lovely location and is looked after by a wonderful senior management team. Teachers love coming to work every day and the children are hard working and eager to learn. When joining as a Year 6 Teacher, you will be joining a fantastic team who support and build each other up so they can all do their very best for the children that they teach. Ideally, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Be able to independently plan and deliver your own lessons
  • Make effective use of formative and summative assessment strategies
  • Have outstanding behaviour and classroom management strategies
  • Have experience as a Year 6 Teacher or in Upper Key Stage 2 classes
