Are you a NQT with experience in Key Stage 1 who is bursting with excitement and eager to get their teaching career off to a flying start? In September as a NQT, you will be able to ‘hit the ground running’ with your first class of hard working children who are eager to meet their next teacher! You will be responsible for planning and delivering your own lessons, deploy support staff effectively and contribute to the wider life of a fantastic school!

Joining a supportive school is essential to having a successful NQT year and the leadership team are eager to see you succeed in this important year of your career. You will be joining a close team of staff who are driven to see their classes succeed. The creative curriculum is fully embraced and the children have developed a love of learning as a result!

Ideally, you will:

  • Have successfully completed your initial teacher training and hold QTS
  • Be able to independently plan and deliver your own lessons
  • Make effective use of formative and summative assessment strategies
  • Have outstanding behaviour and classroom management strategies
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 1 classes
