Teaching Assistant required to support on a 1-2-1 and small group basis at local Ofsted “Good” PRU. This PRU is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with challenging behaviours. This role requires a TA with a good range of de-escalation techniques, an abundance of resilience and a passion for inspiring students. You will be supporting classes of no more than 10 students, and will be working closely with eh class teacher to ensure that the needs of every child are met.

As part of this role you will be required to take part in a range of whole school activities, including trips and “Golden Time”. This is an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to provide long-term support to students who face barriers to education. A positive approach is essential to be successful in this role as you will be acting as a role model for students who require additional support.
