Outreach Tutor required for an immediate start. The Education Network is currently recruiting for an Outreach Tutor to deliver Maths and English to a student who no longer attends mainstream education. We are looking for an experienced tutor or Qualified Teacher who has previous experience  working with challenging behaviours and SEMH. This role involves working on a 1-2-1 basis, planning and delivering lessons to suit the ability of your students.

We are looking for a calm and resilient tutor who has experience breaking down barriers to education and a passion for education. The ability to build rapport and understand the challenges that this student faces is essential, as you will need to tailor your lessons to suit their needs. This  is a rewarding role for a teacher or tutor who is looking for a change from mainstream education.
Job role:

  • Teaching on a 1-2-1 basis
  • Planning and delivering sessions for both Maths and English
  • Using the interests of each student to deliver a tailored curriculum
  • Helping students to reengage with education
