Job Details

Tutor required to teach Maths and English up to GCSE. Must have experience working with Special Educational Needs or Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are currently recruiting for part-time tutors to teach remotely (via Teams) for 2 – 4 hours a day. This role involves teaching Maths and English up to GCSE level, and mentoring students who have faced barriers to education.

The students that you would be working with no longer attend mainstream education for a range of reasons, and you will be matched with students according to your suitability.  In order to be considered for this role you must be either a qualified teacher or an experienced tutor who has a track record of working with additional needs. This is a highly rewarding role that allows you to see the individual progress that is being made by each student.
Job role:

  • Teaching on a 1-2-1 basis via Teams
  • Planning and delivering sessions for both Maths and English
  • Using the interests of each student to deliver a tailored curriculum
  • Helping students to reengage with education
