SEMH Teaching Assistant – 1-2-1 support
Are you a Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor who has experience supporting children with Social emotional and Mental Health needs? We are looking for people just like you to support children at a fantastic local SEMH school. This role requires a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-2-1 basis with students who have been excluded from mainstream schools due to challenging behaviours, we are looking for a TA who is resilient, caring and determined to make a difference.
This local school caters for secondary aged students with SEMH needs, and has a track record of helping them to overcome social and academic barriers that they may face. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can jump straight in and make an instant impact. The team are friendly and supportive, making this a great place to work.
- Providing 1-2-1 academic and social support for students
- Managing any challenging classroom behaviours
- Acting as a positive role model for all students
