Behaviour Mentor required to work on a 1-2-1 and small group basis with students who have been excluded from mainstream education. The Education Network is looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor who has previously worked in an SEMH school or PRU. This role requires experience supporting children with challenging behaviours.
You will be joining an experienced team of pastoral staff who are focused on giving students a second chance. You will be providing classroom based support for students who have faced barriers to education, and you will be working closely with teaching staff to ensure that every child is given an opportunity to succeed.
- Supporting students with additional needs
- Working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis
- Inspiring confidence in students and helping them to break down barriers to education
- Working with the pastoral team to improve attendance and engagement
- Taking part in whole school activities, including school trips etc…
