SEN TA required to support Key Stage 2 children with a range of complex needs at a fantastic SEN school in Central Birmingham. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis providing additional support for children with a range of needs including, Autism, ADHD, MLD and SLD. You will join an experienced team of Teaching Assistants and a wonderful class teacher. As a Teaching Assistant you will enjoy breaking down social and academic barriers, inspiring pupils, and making school a safe and nurturing place for all.

- Providing 1-2-1 classroom support for a student with Special Educational Needs
- Managing challenging behaviours and keeping student engaged
- Providing sensory intervention sessions
- Providing support on school trips and extracurricular activities
- Working with the SENCO to ensure EHCPs are followed
Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs is essential for this role as you will be providing 1-2-1 support. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferable for this position.The Education Network Offer:
