Geography Teacher, full time Easter till July 2020 South East Manchester

The Education Network is pleased to offer an exciting long term Geography teaching post to start towards Easter 2020. Our client is a secondary school in Tameside which benefits from an excellent pastoral and support system and was rated as "Good" in its most recent OFSTED report.

The successful candidate will be expected to raise student achievement through high quality teaching and learning within an atmosphere where students feel challenged, valued, safe and secure. The school is looking for an experienced Geography teacher with a welcoming approach to join their team to cover a sickness. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 and the position is ongoing.

The essential criteria for this position is:

Experience in teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4 - Geography KS4, KS3 History

UK Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)

A degree in a relevant subject

Strong behaviour management skills
