The Education Network are actively seeking to recruit Early Years, KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistant to support our partner primary schools on a part-time, full-time, and day-to-day supply basis.
Supply teaching provides candidates with a fantastic opportunity to enhance their experience in education provisions before committing to a permanent role. Supply teaching enables candidates to make connections with schools, demonstrate their skills and present themselves to decision makers in educational provisions. Supply teaching work provides candidates with the opportunity to work flexibly around other commitments. We are interested in knowing what days you are available to work and what areas you can travel to work. Our excellent team will try their very best to get you work that matches your criteria.
An ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
- You must be willing to complete registration with ourselves so that you are clear to work in primary schools from a compliance perspective.
- Qualified to at least a Level 2 in a relevant education support and leaning.
- Be flexible with working patterns
- Have zero criminal convictions and if not in possession already be willing to apply for a DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) Certificate.
- Have recent experience of working in a classroom environment in the past 2-3 years (voluntary is acceptable).
- Have enthusiasm for learning and supporting teachers and pupils in school.
- Be able to provide references to cover you for your last 2 years of employment (at least one being relevant to childcare/education).
The ideal candidate must be good with behavioural management. We are looking for individuals who are warm, approachable and can work under their own initiative to create a welcoming environment.
