Teacher of Maths and Science - Newcastle
 
The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Newcastle in search of a teacher of Maths and Science. The role is fixed term to extend until the 21/22 academic year. Ideally applicants will be confident in teaching both Maths and Science to Key Stage 4, however those with either subject specialism will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

The school is an excellent alternative provision academy that provides education to pupils from ages 11 to 16 and dedicates itself to improving their well-being. They serve children from the City of Newcastle who are referred by the local authority, having been permanently excluded from a mainstream school.
 
In order to be successful in your application you must be confident and experienced in teaching Maths and/or Science at KS3-4.
 
Requirements for the role of Maths and Science Teacher:
- QTS or other UK recognised Teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths and/or Science at KS3-4.
- A degree in a relevant subject.
- Experience in the classroom
- Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
