Cover Supervisor required in Gateshead.
Do you have experience working with children aged 11-18? Interested in developing a career in teaching? We may have the perfect opportunity for you!
The Education Network is working in partnership with a school in Gateshead that require a Cover Supervisor to begin after the Easter holidays and the role is ongoing until May/July. Our client needs your help to mitigate the effects of teacher sickness and absence on children's education. We therefore require professional, flexible behaviour managers with a passion to work with children to provide them with long-term and short-term classroom cover.
As a Cover Supervisor, your role would be too supervise the classroom in the absence of the teacher. You wouldn't be expected to plan or prepare anything and you also wouldn't be expected to teach the class but rather supervise them and enjoy they are staying on task with the work left behind by their class teacher.
All we ask is that you:

- Have a valid DBS certificate or can apply for one
