Job Details

The Education Network is seeking a number of South Tyneside schools seeking teaching assistants who are available full time.

The roles available from KS1 to KS4 so will require candidates who are flexible and eager to work. A minimum of 12 months experince supporting teaching and learning in schools is a must . Candidates with additional CPD such as team teach and moving and handling would be advantagous but no essential.

Minimum expectation 

  • Level 2 supporting teaching and learning. 
  • 12 months experience supporting teaching and learning. 
  • A willingness to be flexable and fit with the school requirements.
  • An enhanced DBs registered with the government update service.

Desireable skills

  • Driving license and access to your own vehicle 
  • Level 3 supporting teaching and learning 
  • higher level teaching assistant status.
