The Education Network is working in partnership with an SEN school in based in Newcaslte seeking an experienced level 3 teaching assistant.

The role will involve working across KS1 - KS4, and can involve one to one or small group work. Working as part of the schools team you will be responsible for assisting learners both in the classroom and throughout their school day.

Minimum requirements for this role-


  • 12 months experience supporting children with additional needs.
  • Moving and handling experience.
  • Level 3 or above in supporting teaching and learning.

Unfortunatley only experienced candidates will be considered at this time.

Additional desireable skills

  • Safer moving and handlng training.
  • Safe administration of medication.
  • Paediatric First aid.
  • Peg feeding training.
  • Team teach or other positive handling qualification.
