Pupil referral unit support worker

Job Details

The Education Network is working in partnership with a PRU (pupil referal unit) to find support workers who are experienced supporting students with challenging behaviour.

The role is initially on a temporary but could become permenant for the right candidate.

Required skills-

  • Supporting teaching and learning level 3 
  • 3 months experience supporting learners with challenging behaviour.
  • Enhanced DBs registered to the update service.

Desireable skills-

  • Experience working in a PRU or secure unit
  • Team teach/ NAPPI/ Other positive handling 
  • Councilling skills.
