With the fantastic reputation and relationships we have built over the years with our partnership schools in the North West, The Education Network are currently seeking to recruit qualified Teaching Assistants to support a number of schools in KS2 on a supply basis.
Due to the recent growth and unprecedented number of requirements for supply staff across our schools and academies across the North West, we are looking for candidates that would be free to cover on a short and long term basis with work available 1-5 days per week or when required by schools.
We are looking to find enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistants who can go in and hit the ground running. The role would consist of whole class support, where you will be expected to identify the developmental needs of pupils within the class and support accordingly. There will often be times also when you would be expected to take small groups and work on a 1:1 basis to provide additional support to pupils on a one to one basis to help with their concentration, focus and raising their attainment in the general curriculum.
The schools are looking for someone who is warm, approachable and can work under their own initiative to help create a welcoming environment for young minds to flourish.
We are looking for individuals who can work in the following areas: Warrington, Chester and Cheshire West, Cheshire East, Halton, St Helens .
An ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
" You must be willing to complete registration with ourselves so that you are clear to work in primary schools from a compliance perspective.
" Be flexible with working patterns
" Have zero criminal convictions and if not in possession already be willing to apply for a DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) Certificate.
" Have recent experience of working in a classroom environment in the past 2-3 years (voluntary is acceptable).
" Have enthusiasm for learning and supporting teachers and pupils in school.
" Be able to provide references to cover you for your last 2 years of employment (at least one being relevant to childcare/education).
