Location - Weaverham, UK
The Education Network is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant experienced in working with autistic students for a very well respected Primary School in the Weaverham area. The role will involve working 1:1 with a Year-5 autistic boy. The student reacts well to those with a gentle approach, who are calm and re-assuring in their manner. The post will commence January 2022 for a six week period-this is a part time role, 4 full days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a very pro-active school, with strong community links, and an ethos to encourage students to enjoy their learning environment.
You will work under the guidance of teaching staff, to support the students in and out of the classroom. You should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise between both the students and class teachers.
