Teaching Assistant - Early Years

The Education Network is currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant (L2 or L3) for a very well respected Nursery School in the central Warrington area. The post will commence in January 2021, and is on a full time basis (3 days per week). This is an exciting opportunity to work within a very pro-active school, with strong community links, and an ethos to encourage students to enjoy their learning environment.
The school includes provision for 2, 3 and 4 year olds as well as dedicated provision for children with SEND. They provide a high quality and well-resourced, safe, exciting and inclusive learning environment for children, full of stimulating, inspiring learning opportunities. The school also have their own on-site Forest School. The school is lead by a team of highly qualified and dedicated staff with a passion for early years. At the heart their work with children is the relationships they have with families and regard themselves as a learning community.
You will work under the guidance of teaching staff, to support the students in and out of the classroom. You should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise between both the students and class teachers.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a level 2/3 in a relevant childcare qualification
- Have previous experience of working in a similar environment
- A willingness to participate in relevant training and development opportunities
- Be keen to learn and develop professionally
- Be able to work on their own initiative
- Be pro-active team members, committed to raising standards and achievements
- Have a passion for education and raising the achievement of all children
