SEN Teaching Assistant Warrington
The Education Network is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant for an outstanding special school in Warrington. The school 's education and development of their pupils is supported in a pleasant, happy, safe and caring environment, where belief in the importance of positive, interpersonal relationships is firmly embedded alongside an incredibly supportive environment for all staff.
The position is to provide one to one class support to a Year 7 pupil who has some behavioural difficulties. Experience of working with SEBD pupils is desirable but not essential as is experience of de-escalation and intervention techniques.
Most importantly they require someone who has a calm, patient and structured approach and who has experience of supporting pupils with additional needs. The pupil is a passionate rugby and football supporter so knowledge of these sports would be advantageous.
The position will start in October and be an ongoing full time role.
