Are you an experienced teacher who can identify gaps in learning and support students in your local area as they catch up on missed education?
We are currently working with several local authorities, and their schools, to provide support in primary & secondary settings via intervention sessions over the course of the new academic year. Your role will be to provide small group interventions to target students who have not engaged with education over the lockdown period as well as 1:1 tuition sessions (including via internet meeting applications such as Zoom).
You will predominantly be required to supply additional support in Maths & English. The students normally receive 1 to 2 hour sessions of tuition a week depending on their needs, sometimes there is requirement for additional time to be issued. You will be working with students that are falling behind or require the additional support to improve their current educational level. You will be tasked in developing their grades & social skills.
The position is very rewarding and would suit a candidate that can be flexible with regards to hours and availability. Own transport is preferred, but not necessarily needed-dependent on location, etc.
