At The Education Network, we understand that teaching assistants and learning support staff are just as valuable as our teachers. They provide much needed support to pupils and assist teaching staff in this ever-demanding climate.

Teaching assistants and cover supervisors work alongside teachers to ensure that learning activities are completed, curriculum is followed and classrooms are kept in order.

Although challenging, the positions are just as rewarding as they allow for more time with each child, helping them to develop their full potential. These roles are also the perfect choice for those wishing to progress into permanent teaching to gain the necessary first-hand experience required.

We recruit for teaching assistants with NVQ level 2 and level 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools, or a minimum of 6 months working in a classroom based setting.

In order to work as a cover supervisor with The Education Network, you will need to be educated to degree level and have a minimum of three months previous experience of working with 11-18 year olds.

Alternatively, the ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre and willing to undertake a free training course for the role.

We have supply jobs for primary and secondary teaching assistants across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4. These roles may be general support for the teacher or one-to-one support for individual children.

We also work extensively with children with SEND needs and support children with BESD, PMLD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, SLD, MLD and Speech and Language difficulties (SPLd).

If either of the above roles peak your interest and you seek top rates of pay and a personalised education recruitment service, then begin your job search today.
