The Education Network recently hosted a successful recruitment day in Belfast. The event was focused on introducing new teaching opportunities at schools in England and demonstrate the support provided to Teachers, crossing the waters and settling in a new location.
Helen Sutcliffe and Bernadette Parry from The Education Networks’ Peterborough office, talked to aspiring teachers throughout the day. Helen enthused “The day was a great success and the Teachers seemed really pleased with the vast amount of information and opportunities we provided.”
“Whilst exciting, it can also be a daunting prospect, leaving home and setting up in a new area. At The Education Network, we see it as our role to not only find jobs for suitable candidates, but to also support Teachers complete the necessary paperwork and security processes required to support their big move.”
Bernadette added “We’ve been impressed with the calibre of candidates we’ve seen today. We have found a good range of Primary, Secondary and Special Needs teachers that are looking to secure permanent and long term positions at schools in Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and North London areas”
“We met several candidates that we are now going to be arranging Skype interviews with Head Teachers. This removes the need to make unnecessary long and expensive trips to interviews and embraces the digital era we now live in”.
Virtual Tours and Bonus Support from The Education Network.
The day was fully interactive and even offered the opportunity for attendees to take virtual tours, where you could meet Head Teachers online and take a tour of their schools and hear about their vacancies.
The Education Network recruitment team also offer Guaranteed Payment Schemes to those who want to experience working across a variety of schools on a day to day supply basis. They can also advise on rates of pay, additional tax benefits and support in sourcing accommodation and setting up a UK bank account.
