PMLD Teaching Assistants Urgently Required

The Education Network is looking to appoint a PMLD Teaching Assistants to join our successful supply team and work in a local special needs schools in Gainsborough as well as opportunities to work in other schools in the surrounding areas.
This work has a dual educational and care element. These roles are highly skilled and rewarding, as a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will also involve assisting young people with feeding and personal care.
The school aims to provide inclusive and vibrant environments and adopt, for many students, a sensory approach to learning.
You must have knowledge of how students learn, P-Levels and EYFS training are advantageous, as is Moving and Handling training.
To be considered for the PMLD Teaching Assistant position, you will:
- Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Special Needs environment.
- Be comfortable assisting pupils with personal care.
- Experience working within an SEN school in Primary and Secondary setting or with children/young people with Physical or Learning disabilities of some sort is essential.
