The Education Network are searching for a Geography Teacher to start working in impressive Humanities Department from September 2019 – Role may start sooner for the right candidate.
This is a full-time long term teaching position, you will be expected to teach KS3 & KS4 Geography to mixed ability groups. The Faculty of Humanities at this successful Scunthorpe Secondary School aims to provide a rich and varied learning experience for their students. Through the interlinking disciplines of History, Geography, Religious Studies and Citizenship, they encourage young people to develop their understanding of the world in which we live.
You must have a passion to help their students to become thoughtful, enquiring and independent individuals and to fuel their desire to learn more.
NQT's are encouraged to apply for this position.
- Teach both KS3 and KS4 Geography
- Plan and deliver schemes of work
- Attend parents evening and after-school meetings
- Ensure that the classroom is a suitable place to learn
- QTS Qualified (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS on update service
- Eligible to work in the UK
