Teacher of Textiles wanted for a January start at small school that caters for children with Special Educational Needs. As a Textiles Teacher  you will be planning and delivering lessons to Key stage 3 -5  students of mixed ability. It is important that you are an engaging, patient and dedicated teacher who has experience working with Moderate Learning Difficulties, to include Autism, ADHD and communication impairment.

This school is a friendly environment, with brilliant staff and dedicated leadership. You are always greeted with a smile from staff and students alike. Teachers work alongside Teaching Assistants to ensure that students are given the right support. I absolutely love  working with this school as they always put the students first.

Job Role:

  • Teaching Key stage 3 & 4 Textiles
  • Tailoring lessons to support children with a variety of SEND
  • Making lessons fun and engaging for students
  • Creating competitions for students
  • Working alongside leadership on displaying student work

Ideally, you will be:

  • A QTS or NQT
  • Have experience working with ASD and MLD
  • Be able to differentiate effectively
  • Have a positive approach
  • Have a smile for every child
