Job Details

Teaching Assistant required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a male student that requires additional support. This student is currently studying at a local Alternative Provision that caters for challenging behaviour. You will be responsible for providing academic and behaviour support within a classroom setting.

You will:

  • Work as part of a fantastic team
  • Be able to make a real difference
  • Provide classroom based support
  • Engage the student in fun activities
  • Have great support from other Teaching Assistants

 
In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Be resilient, engaging and determined
  • Understand the needs of the child you are supporting
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour
  • Be proactive and be able to work independently
  • Be confident in de-escalation techniques

 
This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who holds a Teaching Assistant qualification, and has worked with challenging behaviour and Special Educational Needs. For more information please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
