Job Details

We are looking for Residential Support Workers that really want to make a difference to the lives of the children and young adults that we support on a daily basis.   As  Residential Support Worker you will be working with children from the age of 7 to young adults up to 18.  You will be working with a  variety of needs and must understand that every case is different and always put the child or young adult first.

 

You will be:-

  • Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of working in a care setting and have appropriate references
  • An experienced Support Worker who has a proven record of working with children and young adults in a Care setting
  • Happy to go the extra mile to support basic living skills, play, sport, education and general care
  • Used to working with challenging behaviour and sometimes just knowing when to listen
  • Able to provide practical support to include homework and learning
  • Have excellent communications skills
  • Happy to work as part of a team but have the initiative to work with children on a 1-2-1 basis
