We are working alongside this exceptional secondary school in Sheffield who have a vacancy for a Special Needs teaching assistant to join them from October 2019.
You will be working alongside pupils who have a range of mild learning difficulties and so will need to have a previous understanding of how to best work with them and help them achieve their goals in learning. This role is on a full time basis and will be for the duration for one year, possibly longer.
The ideal candidate for this role is one who has previous experience of working with children with additional needs. Ideally you will have a degree in Psychology giving you a basic understanding of various additional needs and how to support those children effectively. You must be outgoing and committed, as well as being organised and keen to make a difference.
