The Education Network are working alongside this larger than average secondary school in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, and we’re hoping to appoint a full time Geography Teacher from September 2019.

Geography Teacher required in a school in Halifax. This role is to start in September 2018. The SLT are looking to appoint an exciting and innovative KS3 & KS4 Geography Teacher to join a strong team within the Geography department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed, energetic and supportive Humanities department. The HOD and SLT are keen to bring on board a confident and exciting Geography Teacher with experienced and newly qualified teachers welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic classroom practitioner with the ability to teach Geography to GCSE, able to self motivate as well as drive students to achieve above minimum targets. You will need to make lessons challenging and enjoyable, maximising students' potential for learning. A teacher with high expectations of themselves, their colleagues and pupils is a must have to ensure consistency is maintained throughout the school. You will need to share the aims and goals of the SLT and be keen to be a large part of learners' success.
