The Education Network is working alongside this larger than average secondary school in West Yorkshire and they are hoping to recruit a full time History teacher from September 2019. This is an excellent opportunity for the right teacher, who is looking to enhance their teaching career and really make a positive impact on your student’s learning.
Our client school is a Ofsted graded GOOD school, who are striving for OUTSTANDING in their next inspection. The Humanities department work well as a team to ensure inclusive learning. You will find yourself well supported and your teaching well received by students who are willing to learn.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic classroom practitioner with the ability to teach History to GCSE, able to self motivate as well as drive students to achieve above minimum targets. You will need to make lessons challenging and enjoyable, maximising students' potential for learning. A teacher with high expectations of themselves, their colleagues and pupils is a must have to ensure consistency is maintained throughout the school. You will need to share the aims and goals of the SLT and be keen to be a large part of learners' success.
This school is located in the heart of West Yorkshire, and offers excellent transport links via bus or train. There is also on-sight car parking if you drive.
