Requirements:

• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Outstanding communication skills, coupled with a warm and friendly persona.
• A passion for the English language and a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences to all students.
• The ability to work effectively in collaboration with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging lessons and create exciting learning materials.
• Motivation to partake in continuing professional development and a drive to learn from colleagues.

 
The Role:

• Planning and delivering innovative and engaging English lessons, in collaboration with colleagues, to aid KS3 and KS3 students in their journey towards the GCSE English examinations.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress as a means of adapting learning materials to suit each individual’s learning needs and providing regular constructive feedback.
• Participating in the school's professional development programme, including regular training and coaching sessions
• Maintaining the positive, welcoming learning environment by engaging with the wider school community and adhering to the safeguarding policies.
• As an English ECT, you’ll receive in-depth support and guidance as your progress through your induction period and will be working alongside a caring and talented team of colleagues.
