***£80-£90 per day
***September 2024- July 2025
***1-2-1 and small group support through the maths GCSE curriculum.
 
Requirements:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in maths, or a related field.
• A passion for maths, with a desire to motivate students to improve their progress.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and the skills to explain these concepts to students aged 11-16.
• A patient and understanding nature, coupled with the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
• Previous experience of working in a school setting is advantageous, but not mandatory.

 
 
The Role

• Providing outstanding support and guidance to under-achieving KS3 and KS4 students as they work their way through the GCSE maths syllabus.
• Monitoring student progress and identifying individuals who require additional support to devise improvement strategies.
• Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivering of GCSE maths lessons.
• Organising and coordinating extra-curricular activities to extend students’ passion for maths to outside of the classroom.
• Creating a positive and innovative learning environment in which students feel motivated and secure.
