The Education Network are working alongside this secondary academy in Kirklees, who are currently seeking a Food Technology teacher to join their growing department, in January 2019. Due to an unforeseen absence, this school are keen to recruit asap!
Based in Kirklees, this school is easily accessible via public transport but offers on-site car parking also.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic classroom practitioner with the ability to teach Food Technology to GCSE, able to self motivate as well as drive students to achieve above minimum targets. You will need to make lessons challenging and enjoyable, maximising students' potential for learning. A teacher with high expectations of themselves, their colleagues and pupils is a must have to ensure consistency is maintained throughout the school. You will need to share the aims and goals of the SLT and be keen to be a large part of learners' success.
