This school usually celebrates fantastic staff retention, and are looking to replace an English Teacher who is moving out of the area. There are dozens of Unique Selling Points about the school – but one of my favourites is that the Head of School stands on duty, litter picks, and runs detention himself – and in doing so, means that the staff are happy to do so too.
The Education Network is working with a brilliant school in Walsall who are looking to strengthen their English department with another English Teacher from Monday November 5th. They are an Ofsted Good school with Outstanding leadership, and are expecting to be Outstanding in their next inspection, so would be a fantastic time to join their school.
The school have specified that they are looking for and English Teacher with the following:
- Experience taking a cohort all the way through to GCSE
- No moving from school to school – stayed at one school for a good amount of time.
- Degree in English with at least 2:1
- Passionate and willing to go that extra mile.
Although the school is in Walsall, it has excellent access from motorways from surrounding areas, so would be well worth travelling the extra distance if you are unsure. The pay scales confirmed with the school is between M3 and M6, and are happy to negotiate TLR’s for more experienced Teachers.
Should you not hear from us regarding your application for this particular teacher position, please be reassured that you could be very suitable for another role – so send your CV regardless, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
