Headteacher SEBD/SEMH school
Salary £53,723- £60,753 per annum
The Education Network are currently working with a school for children and young people aged 7-19 with emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs (SEMH) providing specialist therapeutic residential and educational support. They are seeking a dynamic and inspiring leader who is able to continue on the journey to create an outstanding school.
Currently rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted; as the Headteacher you will provide vision, leadership and direction for our school to the highest professional standard whist maintaining its success and excellent reputation.
As a key figure in shaping our school and driving our curriculum development you will be skilled in working collaboratively with all levels of staff and be expected to be creative and innovative to drive improvement within education.
Your role will ultimately be accountable for all areas of operational and educational performance within the school, as well as the financial performance and management of education and support staff.
We welcome applications from experienced Headteachers and Senior leaders with:
-a demonstrable record of success in inspiring and leading large teams to deliver outstanding learning and outcomes for children and young people with significant special educational needs.
- proven experience of building excellent relationships with pupils, staff, parents, governors, the local authority, other schools and the local community.
- a thorough understanding of the needs of pupils and students with significant Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including those with Profound and Multiple learning Difficulties and Autism.
- varied teaching and leadership experience across a range of special schools and familiarity with a range of pupil needs.
