Tutor roles available now! Based in Salford, Manchester and Trafford
We are currently recruiting for tutors to work in and out of the school environment , supporting with intervention , various curriculum areas as well as some pastoral support
Your role will involve:
" Travel to students' homes, libraries, or schools to conduct tutoring sessions.
" Schedule tutoring appointments with students or their parents/carers
" Offer support pastorally as a number of these students are vulnerable
" Prepare and facilitate tutoring workshops, collaborative projects, or academic support sessions for small groups of students.
" Monitor student performance or assist students in academic environments, such as classrooms, study centres or libraries.
Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students.
Prepare lesson plans or learning modules for tutoring sessions according to students' needs and goals.
Maintain records of students' assessment results, progress, feedback, or school performance, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
Identify, develop, or implement intervention strategies, tutoring plans, or individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Develop teaching or training materials, such as hand outs, study materials, or quizzes.
Communicate students' progress to students, parents or teachers in written progress reports, in person, by phone, or by email.
Assess students' progress throughout tutoring sessions.
You will need:
GCSE Maths and English
A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
Experience working with children of all ages, some with additional needs - SEBD, SEMH, ASC, ADHD etc
Current DBS - on the update service (we can process one for you if you require one)
Be available for work from 10 hour-25 hours per week
