DT Teacher required - Textiles specialism for the Autumn term 2019
We are working with a Secondary school in South Manchester who are currently looking for a specialist teacher to cover in Design & Technology (Textiles) up to and including KS4. The post is part time 0.6 commencing in September.
The successful candidate is required to start September 2019.
You will need to:
" Be passionate about teaching Design Technology
" Have the ability to teach Textiles to KS4
" Be a driven, hardworking professional.
" Strong Behaviour Management is essential.
" Have impeccable work history showing no safeguarding issues

Applicants must hold UK QTS and a PGCE/Equivalent focusing on Design and Technology.
Candidates will be confident in building a strong rapport with pupils and hold the ability to consistently deliver outstanding lessons. Staff within this department hold a collective vision based on providing every pupil with the highest standard of teaching and learning to ensure they achieve above and beyond their expected grades.
Teachers will be passionate about raising pupil attainment and with proven records will fit perfectly into this position.
You will be required to work along-side the Head of Department to plan and deliver lessons for KS3 through to KS4 students. A desirable candidate will have the ability to quickly adapt to the school's culture and ethos and motivate and inspire the students within their class.
