Teaching Assistant for Hearing Impaired based in Central Manchester
The Education Network is pleased to offer an exciting post for a teaching assistant starting immediately. Our client is a rapidly improving secondary school that benefits from a modern building and friendly, welcoming staff. The successful candidate would be supporting a hearing impaired student on a 1:1 basis within school. Prior experience working with hearing impaired individuals would be an advantage.
The essential criteria for this position is:
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
Have worked with children with a Hearing Impairment
Ability to work on your own initiative as well as being able to take direction
To be able to work one to one or with small groups of children that next extra support
