Health and Social Care Teacher - KS4 and KS5
A Health & Social Care Teacher is required part time for three and a half days a week from March 2019 until May 2019 based in a secondary school just south of Manchester city centre.
Week A: All day Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and half day on Tuesday (finish at 11:00)
Week B: All day Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and half day on Wednesday (finish at 11:00)
Once established, the member of staff will be expected to undertake the following as part of their paid role - registration cover when required, some break duties, setting work, marking work and attending any remaining parents' evenings.
The essential criteria:
A recognised teaching qualification in Health and Social care
Degree in a closely related subject or equivalent professional qualification at level 4 or above
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Commitment and enthusiasm for student learning in a variety of ways
Total commitment to delivering an outstanding learning experience to students
A readiness to be involved with teaching and learning support activities across the school.
Our client is looking for someone who is able to commit to this role for the whole period up to Friday 22 May, no holidays booked or other commitments, etc.
